Gero, Evaul & McCloskey provides audit and assurance services designed to enhance the reliability of information prepared by our clients for use by investors, creditors, stakeholders and regulators. We maintain the highest level of professionalism and quality control in the delivery of our audit and assurance services.
With our national firm experience, resources and process, we deliver quality services and adhere to the highest standards of objectivity and independence.
We provide these services for organizations that are privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations. We also provide these services for employee benefit plans in accordance with the regulations of the US Department of Labor “DOL”. As a fully licensed CPA firm, one of our services also includes providing audits, reviews, compilations and income tax filings for the Common Interest Realty Association Industry ("CIRA"), more commonly referred to as Home Owners' and Condominium Associations.
Gero, Evaul & McCloskey’s assurance professionals also provide other attestation and general business consulting services including reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, forecasts, forensic investigation, reports on internal control, internal audit assistance, merger and acquisition analysis and fraud examinations among others. We have experience assisting our clients not only achieve their audit and assurance objectives, but deal with complex technical transactions and other accounting and financial reporting matters. Gero, Evaul & McCloskey’s assurance professionals stay current with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) and receive continuous training in audit, accounting, and compliance matters specific to our clients industry. We also are active in the accounting professional associations. We also have a passing peer review certification as required by the American Institute of Certified Accountants.

Member, AICPA Peer Review Program
CPA firms that are members of the AICPA are required to have their professional work reviewed by qualified outside professional reviewers every three years to ensure a system of quality control and that the firm adheres to the
professional standards. The findings of the peer review are reported to the AICPA. A copy of our most recent report it attached here.
